Is it crazy to spend close to 150,000 kr on a twenty-year-old motorcycle?

Thomas contacted us two years ago with a very long list of things he wanted done to his 2005 Yamaha R6. That was the start of the wildest project we've ever had our hands on.

Thomas had bought his dream motorcycle. A crazy beautiful example of the limited edition model of Yamaha's 2005 R6, built to pay tribute to the 9-time world champion. But the fact that only 2500 pieces of the two-tone black/yellow rocket were built wasn't enough for Thomas. It had to be a one-off. The Pitbox helped him with that.

The adventure lasted for a whole year. A year where we had custom-made consoles and other parts, while also installing brake parts, suspension parts and wheels, etc. of a caliber that is rare and typically only seen among the fastest on international race tracks.
